What is a Freeze Sleeve?

The Freeze Sleeve is a revolutionary Hot/Cold Therapy Sleeve providing relief and recovery for aching muscles and joints for all ages and sizes. It provides 360 degrees of Hot/Cold therapy and 100% coverage of the treatment area. Scientifically formulated to provide the recommended amount of cold therapy treatment time.

How do I use it?

For heat therapy, remove your Freeze Sleeve from the storage bag and microwave for 30 seconds, then hold it firmly against the skin. Your Freeze Sleeve should feel warm to the touch, not hot. Reheat in 10 second increments until desired temperature is reached.  

For cold therapy, simply place the Freeze Sleeve inside of the provided bag or any resealable bag in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours. Our compression design locks the cold in and around the treated area. 

Do I have to keep the product in the plastic bag?

Yes, it is important you keep the product in the bag when the product is in the freezer.  Since our products are made of a hydro-based gel, water (like freezer condensation) can cause the gel to dissolve. The bag is to ensure the sleeve stays dry in the freezer. If you lose or damage the bag provided, any plastic freezer bag will work as an alternative.  

Do NOT keep the product in the bag when microwaving for heat therapy.

How long does the product take to get cold?

Place the product in the freezer for 2 hours to ensure it reaches its coldest temperature. It is also recommended that you turn your freezer to its lowest temperature setting.

How long will the product stay cold?

Our products are scientifically formulated to provide the recommended amount of cold therapy duration. Overall, the treatment process typically lasts around 20 minutes.

Throughout the process, our products will begin to acclimate to the user's body temperature. Although you may feel the outside of the sleeves getting warmer, our 360 degree design locks the cold in for deep penetration to the treated area. Users normally see a 12-15° variance between treated and untreated skin.

Are the products waterproof?

Our products are NOT waterproof. They are made of a scientifically formulated hydro-based gel and cased in a latex-free fabric that is antimicrobial, antibacterial as well as non-toxic. If you get the product wet, the gel could dissolve.

How do I clean my product?

To clean the sleeves, we recommend using an antibacterial wipe.  Apply directly to the fabric and allow the sleeve to air dry before placing it back in the freezer.

Can the sleeves be used during exercise?

Our products are intended to be used as post workout/surgery therapy. They are not intended to be used during exercise.

Are the sleeves used for support?

Our sleeves are not intended to offer support. The 360 degree Hot/Cold Therapy Sleeve is designed to hold the sleeve in place providing mobile recovery.

 

Sizing & Application

How do I know what size to buy?

Our sleeves come in six different sizes, capable of handling any joint or appendage from a wrist/ankle to a quad/hamstring. Our size guide is located on our website, as well as on the back of our boxes. 

What if I am between sizes?

If you are between sizes, it is recommended that you order the larger size to ensure proper fit.

How do I properly wear the sleeve?

Always slide the sleeve on with wide end at the top. The black threading should always be at the bottom to ensure maximum fit and compression. Refer to our size chart and measurement guide to ensure proper fit.

Is there a top and bottom of the sleeve?

Yes, the threaded side of the sleeve is always at the bottom to ensure maximum fit and compression.
