Our products are NOT waterproof. They are made of a scientifically formulated hydro-based gel and cased in a latex-free fabric that is antimicrobial, antibacterial as well as non-toxic. If you get the product wet, the gel could dissolve.
To clean the sleeves, we recommend using an antibacterial wipe, apply directly to the fabric and allow the sleeve to air dry before placing back in the freezer.
Yes, it is recommended you keep the product in the bag. Since our products are made of a hydro-based gel, water (like freezer condensation) can cause the gel to dissolve. The bag is to ensure the sleeve stays dry in the freezer. If you lose or damage the bag provided, any plastic freezer bag will work, or reach out to us for a replacement.
